Pretty good place for a small getaway to bring the kids and family during the summer even if just for a quick weekend trip.
Used to be fun , but things have changed. My boyfriend was approached by a staff member and with her telling him to " pull you swimming trunks up we have a sign right there saying we don't want to see your underwear. " she was so rude. He had on swimming trunks but the water from the wave pool pushed his trunks down and a tad bit of his underwear was showing. She was extremely rude. Food was okay. Everything else was really fun. Not to mention , they gave us a second day free. Will return.
Today was my very first time visiting blue bayou and I can honestly say that I had tons of fun the also the lines weren't long at all. The special that is currently in affect for $17.99 for persons 48" & up from 3pm-6pm was a great money saver. Only downfall of the day was the ride attendants/life guards there was a few who stood out from the rest by going the extra mile with friendliness and help but most had an attitude that displayed they didn't want to be there and didn't care.
The employees told my bf he had to get in a tube and he told them he can't. He is disabled and he had to repeat that the employees. Then he told one of the supervisor and kept have to repeat himself to all the supervisors. I feel like he was being treated wrong and very disrespected by them. It was our first time there. Horrible experience and service. The employees and supervisors were very cruel to him and humiliated him. I will report to better business bureau.
My family and I had fun but they were short staffed so not all rides were accessible. For the amount of money you pay, they should have all the rides available.
