I brought my unassembled bike here, not only did he assemble, tune, and educate me in the process while doing it all, but he gave me a discount on tire pump with a pressure gage, $15 bucks. Including work and parts the total came out to $35 bucks flat, $20 for the assembly and tune up, and $15 for the pump.
Am totally new to road bikes, ordered one off of amazon, without knowing about this place. If I could go back and give him my buisness I would!
Travis, the owner, was super friendly and really knew about his product. Fair prices as well. I would say experienced riders and newbies alike should give this man your business. I sure will be returning for anything bike related. Thank you mid city bikes!
Unsolicited was told he could put on 40 dollar rear rack for 20 bucks (that's 5 bucks a screw). I went elsewhere and found the same rear rack for 25 and had it installed for free.
Went in for the first time today. The owner was extremely helpful, down to earth and knowledgeable. He seemed to genuinely love what he does with a passion that isn't too often seen anymore in a business environment. It's not often I go somewhere to spend money on products or services and get bestowed upon such a plethra of knowledge. The prices are great and he is not at all pushy, it was more like I was hanging out and being educated than being put through the hard sale. After working to fix my blown tube situation and finding out that my tires/rims had issues that was causing the blowouts, he offered to call it even, if I couldn't afford the new parts that I was unaware I needed, because I had made a bad investment on a bike with issues. I bought the nessisary parts and he remedied my situation and now im back on the road cycling once again. Genuine stand up fellow that runs the place, I can not speak highly enough of the guy or his business.
