I normally love the atmosphere for the hotel and casino. However, be careful with the hotel and check your bill. They charged me for a $27 dollar movie that was not ordered by me. They told me the time and I was no where near the hotel at that time. Thy will give you bogus charges. Great to play, but be careful if you decide to stay in the hotel! Then when I called about it I was told they would call me back and no call. I called back and got attitude.

I have had an ok experience at L’Auberge Casino. The customer service is great bartenders are nice and knowledgeable of the drinks they are making and security are professional and great help. There is couple of negative sides to the casino though. The bathrooms are mostly always dirty ( paper on floors, water puddles on floor, and always stinks). Some of the games I have enjoyed cause of being more updated. I have won a few times from playing games have had no problem with service handling the money. Though I should say when i have won few times it is sad that security does or not able to receive tips. How can that be? One officer acknowledged that even though they do allot around the casino there is no way they can get any share of tips from other co-workers. I was upset when I gave a slot attendant a large tip amount for her and the security officer to split and share because of disturbing news that officer gave me. Slot attendants will keep everything for themselves and not say anything and will go towards the attendant and not to an officer who helps them do payouts. Knowing that will make sure next time won’t make same mistake again give lower tip amount. For anyone that wins any money at this casino be aware of you tip a large sum of money to the attendant security guards will not see one penny.

Excellent service, polite, friendly service from the valet on up. Rooms were simply gorgeous, spacious, wonderful bathrooms, room service, everything Is a phone call away. Best hotel I've stayed in in a while and would always go back.

New Year's Eve buffet was DELICIOUS. Hot catfish, egg rolls, roast beef, lobster, boiled shrimp, lobster, roasted veggies, all kinds of desserts -- you name it. Not too crowded tonight, but very festive with a great band.

The star of the Bon Temps Buffet seems to be the boiled shrimp, year 'round. This is unfortunate because they have recently changed how they prepare the shrimp. It had been done with "Old Bay" seasoning, which was fine. Now the shrimp is a deeper red and it tastes strongly of cayenne pepper. My suspicion is that this is by design, to discourage over-sampling. The pink shrimp were much better.

Most of the people working there are friendly and helpful, as you would expect. But some of the servers have a definite attitude problem. I stood by the pork loin slicing area and waited for over five minutes. Finally, a server called to someone to come over, who in turned called the woman who was supposed to be manning the slicing station. She sauntered up and was obviously peeved to have been interrupted. The pork, by the way, was perfectly prepared it's a shame the experience was ruined.

The buffet needs hands-on management, it currently seems on autopilot.
