Too modern no alter with jesus on cross & Mary does not appear to be Roman Catholic not a cathedral

Came to this church after evacuation from Katrina, @ 7 years later. I felt isolated at first, but it didn't take long to become a member of this family. The priests, alter servers, musicians are all great. Thinking of retuning home, (N.O.) I will miss this congregation greatly.
Great church!!! My wife and I love the choir-band at the 5:30 mass on Sunday. They were one of the reasons we joined this parish over a year ago. Everyone in the parish has been really nice and welcoming.
