Originally started with another doctor at B&J but changed when he told my college age daughter that she didn’t need crutches or support while she waited for repair of her complete ACL tear. Dr. Pope is lovely. He patiently explained her injury, drew pictures, explained the procedure and follow up. While waiting during my daughter’s surgery, at least 3 people were notified to go to recovery to meet their family members. When my daughter’s name was called, they asked me to wait as the doctor wanted to speak with me. I was terrified that something had gone wrong. He only wanted to explain what he found, what he did to repair and showed me the pictures of her intraooerative repair. In recovery, the nurses stated that he is always pleasant to deal with and his surgeries have good outcomes. I would wholeheartedly recommend him or go to him myself for a similar procedure. Three months out, my daughter is recovering well and in PT as recommended.
I had Dr. David Pope perform an ACL reconstruction (hamstring tendon for graft) and meniscus tear trim. This is my first ACL surgery on left knee, i have had 2 on my right. I am 7 months out of surgery and the knee is doing great. He and his staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and i would highly recommend them if you have any knee injuries or issues.
