Mrs. Johnson doesn't do anything. I had to move out of the state in order to get my case fixed. She didn't update marital status or job status. Even though I reported changes several times. That is scratching the surface of things she didn't do.
I arrived at 2 pm Tuesday afternoon without an appointment and a little nervous after reading about long waits. There was only about 20 people waiting when I arrived. The SS employees were very helpful and processed everything very quickly - I had all the paperwork completed and left the parking lot 30 minutes later. That's way better than going to the doctors office! Everyone was helpful and friendly - Tuesday afternoon looks like a good time to go.
I was dreading going as I had heard such bad reports. I was pleasantly surprised. There were over a hundred people and no parking spaces. They moved people quickly and efficiently. I only had to wait a little over an hour. I was surprised. Then when I got to an agent they were personable, caring, answered questions, and rapidly took care of my paperwork without my being called to the window twice as some had to do. Hint: search for the form relating to your issue and print and fill it out before you go in. Read what documents are required and be sure you have those.
I CANNOT EVEN COMPLAIN ABOUT THE SERVICES, I CANNOT EVEN GET THEM ON THE PHONE.WHOEVER IS OVER THAT AREA NEEDS TO BE FIRED. THIS IS PITIFUL. THAT PHONE SYSTEM NEEDS TO BE OVERHAULED TO USER FRIENDLY.
