I had been dreading the thought of going to physical therapy to strengthen my shoulder due to a torn rotator cuff. I was pleasantly surprised, right from my first visit. The facility was very clean and the therapy equipment was well maintained. I was most impressed with the attention I got from a highly trained staff. Believe it or not, when I completed my final day of therapy I was genuinely sad to leave the friends I had made there.
I was not at all excited about having to go through therapy, I guess no one can really be. I must say the staff is always wonderful and friendly even at my 7am appt time. My hand therapist Debbie is the best as well as her assistant Alix. She not only gives me the exercises that has helped a great amount but she also answers and explains any questions throughly in a manner at which I can understand easily. Would highly recommend and oddly will miss them when it's over.
Let's face it: Who WANTS to go to physical therapy? I sure didn't, but the experience I've been having at BRPT - Lake on Shadows Lane has been off -the-chart amazing. And it's not just my PT team of Landon and Stacey (that's right - they're MY team; go get your own). EVERY SINGLE PERSON I've interacted with at this facility has been 100% focused on making sure I'm having a superior, positive experience. As a result, my physical therapy journey has been significantly more endurable than I had expected. I look forward to my 7 AM sessions and find them a great way to start the day.
I would recommend BRPT Lake to anybody in need of not just great physical therapy, but physical therapy delivered by a team of great people who really, truly care about their patients.
