Cutest place ever! Beautiful decor and HUGE BAR with a great selection of liquor. You can tell a lot of detail went into this place. The food is the delicious! I have not tried a single thing that I dislike. Great lunch options and good prices. The portions are very big so your dollar goes a long way. Try the frose! It will be your new favorite drink!
Everything even the bread is made fresh daily. The pickles are amazing, the cucumbers used are grown in a garden out back. Absolutely fantastic food and service. Great lunch specials with big enough portions for left overs! The meat is always tender and falls apart. The homemade sauces for dipping are fantastic. The homemade potato chips are great to add a crunch to any dish you get. You really don’t get any better than a restaurant like this.
Chef Justin does not fail to impress. BRQ has an amazing atmosphere with an amazing menu. Everything we ate was fantastic. The Froze and Maple Manhattan were artfully crafted. The lemon meringue pie was beautiful and executed perfectly. Can't wait to go back. Oh and our Servers, Laken and Mario, were great!
I decided to try this place out for lunch today. The restaurant is beautifully decorated inside and out. With a very cosy feel on the outside, it has a very spacious interior with a modern bar set up and quaint country tables with benches or wooden chairs (think country chic). I was met just inside the door by a hostess (she could have been just a little more happy to see me come in, she made me feel like it didn't matter to her if we ate there or not). It took several minutes for our server to arrive (he brought a carafe of ice cold water and 2 cups with ice). I must not have been the class of clientele he's used to, he gave a look that was disappointed at best. I ordered a diet Coke ( all they have is bottled soft drinks, nothing from tap) so refills would have been a la cart. I was also served freshly prepared bread and butter pickles with house made barbecue chips. They were absolutely delicious and I could tell they were fresh. I unfortunately miscalculated the timing and was forced to take my food to go, but was not disappointed. The food was fresh, delicious and you could taste the care that went into the preparation! I would have given them 5 stars but the mediocre service and the lack of refillable drinks brought the score down.
Overpriced and they are not sure what they want to be. Do they want to be fine dinning or do they want to be a BBQ place? Drinks here are per glass which is crazy, portion sizes are small. The food was half decent but the chicken had all kinds of fat. The brisket was good. The BBQ chips and pickles decent. The catfish, bro please. We got all kinds of good seafood don't insult me with one strip for 30 bucks. The burgers looked good but overall not impressed people flock to this place and I am unsure why.
