I had very high expectations for this restaurant, but I was a little disappointed. The service was inconsistent: I was seated promptly, but it took a while before my waiter came to my table (in fact, the man who seated me brought me water when he noticed no one had come to see me after several minutes). When I asked for recommendations about steak/side dishes, the answers were vague (“Everything is good”, etc).
As a reference, I was by myself, only had water and it cost me around $90+ with tip.
I love Flemings. Many many times we have had company functions here and I have brought family for special occasions as well. The stakes are always top quality, the wine selection is outstanding and the food is consistently delicious. The service is also very very good.
I had a main filet mignon with mashed potatoes, and asked for medium, but it was closer to rare. The rarer parts were hard to chew and I didn’t finish it all. The mashed potatoes were delicious, though. For dessert, I had the chocolate lava cake, which was tasty, but I was so full I couldn’t eat it all fresh (had to take away and it wasn’t as good after a day, sadly).
Absolutely fanominal, wait staff was kind, knowledgeable, and very amicable. Food was brought out in a timely manner and was delicious.
Paul knew what he was doing when he forged this concept to rival the other national fine steak house chains. Experienced wait staff accompany a gorgeous sessional menu along side a respectable and diverse wine list.
My 2nd time visiting this month Fabulous Food and Excellent Service I will definitely be dining here again soon
