Good food. Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. I was on a business trip and went here for brunch. The staff was very friendly and the food was excellent. I really enjoyed the beignets with the House marmalade. My only minor gripe was that the food was a bit slow to come out, but I’m not taking away a star because I was a bit rushed myself and it was the weekend.
ORIGINAL REVIEW.
Food is fantastic and its never crowded for breakfast but it can be a little slow sometimes.
It was freezing in the restaurant. Our pancakes came out cold and omelette was just okay. Disappointed
UPDATE 7/20/17: Even though the owner responded in the message below in an attempt to make readers feel as though they're attentive, I've since tried to contact them and follow through with their requests, but they haven't followed up since then. Two months have gone by with no action even though their response below suggests they would. Another star removed.
While I typically love the food and service, today brought an unfortunate experience. When I received the check, I had been charged for two additonal refills on my children's orange juice. When I brought it to the attention of my server, he claimed that it was how he had to ring up the beverage that allegedly came with the kid's meals as detailed by the menu (meanwhile, the full price of the kid's meals were charged as a separate line item). Instead of owning up to the mistake and removing the charge, he decided to lie. It was only an additional $1.98, but the principle involved here spoke volumes. Make sure to double check your bills and bring it up to a manager on duty. You may be paying for things that you did not order.
I walked inside a wonderful and pleasant looking restaurant. Was greeted very friendly and kindly by the host and another employee who was up front. Placed our orders and got drinks...took awhile for the food to come out. Then after that the visit began going down hill. The table was dirty, so we covered it with a table cloth. The waitress never came back to give a refill so the whole time i had a small glass of orange juice to go along with a fairly large meal. The food wasn't as good as it looked and somewhat over cooked. The waitress must have felt guilty after we paid and asked us did we want some waters. Not really worth the price in my opinion either. Nearly paid steakhouse prices for an average breakfast. I never would have thought a small glass of orange juice will cost as much as a gallon at a supermarket
