They replaced the arcade with a bar which is neat.

Decent price for tickets (I paid around $7 for a matinee). Food and drinks are pricey as usual (up to $16 for some popcorn and a drink), and not the cleanest theater. But I've seen worse.

This theater was renovated after the flood. The theater we were in has power reclining seats that make the experience much nicer.

**Follow up** Received a call from AMC about the incident. The call came from the man who refunded my ten dollars and identified himself as manager. He says that he'd told it was a different item, not the pretzel, and said they'd filled out three different pieces of paper on the incident. Of course, we never saw this paperwork which should have indicated the amount owed for the refund so he should have known precisely what was going on. If something seems shady, it seems shady.

It's been years since I've been to MAC, but we got a gift card for Christmas and went to see Star Wars. I was impressed with the changes to the lobby of the theater, it's very sleek and modern looking and has a nice warm feeling that feel carries throughout even into the bathrooms. I was excited to learn they had reserved seating and reclining chairs...until I sat in them. The recliners are not very comfortable at all, and you feel super cramped if someone is sitting next to you. I felt like I was sitting on a rock. I much prefer there old style seating. Celebrity Theateres just spoiled me I guess. Anyhow once my gift card is done I won't be back, id rather sit in comfortable recliners at Celebrity Theaters for the same price.

I left very concerned about the honesty of the concession staff. We attended yesterday and my underage son went to order some food. I waited about twenty feet away. My son ordered a pretzel and drink, order total about $24. They took the money and then told him that they were out of pretzels. Asked if he wanted to substitute something for the pretzel. He said fine, asked for a hot dog instead. A hot dog and a drink costs almost $14. After a few moments, I noticed two of the adult employees talking to him as he waited for his order. I went over and they were telling him that he wasn't going to get a partial refund as he'd agreed to a substitution. He argued. I went over and pointed out the ten dollar price difference between the hot dog and the pretzel. They repeated that he'd agreed to a substitution. I insisted. He'd agreed to a partial refund and a substitution. They don't get to keep the $10 difference. Finally, one of the employees handed me a ten dollar bill, saying he didn't know that there was a price difference. We left the counter as our movie was about to start, but the employees made no attempt to print out receipts or do a proper partial refund as the price difference was not exactly $10. I understand that sometimes the concessions will run out of certain items but their behavior indicated two adults trying to scam a child out of ten dollars. I have to wonder if this is a routine they run often. If you take your child to AMC, make certain that you supervise every interaction to make sure that no dishonest employee tries to take advantage of your child.

They appear to have renovated to be like a movie tavern without the food, which is their weakest part. This seems like a good decision and should make them more competitive and a better movie going experience.

5 stars from me, hasn't failed me yet. This theater is amazing, it has great movie rooms and comfortable seats. The popcorn is delicious and service is great. Staff is friendly and best of all it's a great place for a date or a hangout with some friends. If you're looking for a good movie theater, I highly recommend coming here if you're in the area. :)
