Nice staff. The theater was pretty empty before the evening. I love they matinee movies and the prices! The food was good as usual, but you pay for the convenience.
Theater was nice and clean... movie was good but it took the waitress 40 minutes into the movie to get us our soft drinks... alcoholic drinks came right away... some food came about 20 minutes into the movie... food was okay... seats were comfortable and other than the service we enjoyed our experience....
We decided to have a family day and visit movie tavern. Although I’d heard some bad reviews, we decided to take a chance anyway. The theater was spacious and the seats were comfortable; however, the service was another story. I ordered the chicken salad, my kids ordered nachos, dip and deserts. We also ordered drinks as well. My salad was super salty. I sent it back twice with the same results. Finally I requested that they just give me another serving of chips and dip with a coffee. The coffee was ice cold, the dip was cold and tasteless as well. I had to request the drinks for the kids about 5 times. They finally arrived after about an hour. The server was friendly but the service was slow and left a lot to be desired.. The movie experience was a pleasant one so if you’re going to simply watch a movie I’d recommend it. My advice is to eat first before going and don’t bother with the dining aspect.
I'm not an avid movie goer but after two visits it seems like a good way to combine dinner and a movie. Staff is courteous, but they either made a mistake when bringing us a Diet Coke or telling us they had Coke Zero. The audio visual setup is solid and the volume was set to a good level. I don't find it too distracting with the other patrons ordering food, but it could be depending on where you sit.
This place is awesome! I swore I had bought the movie for the correct date but apparently I didn’t... so I showed up three days later with old tickets. They were so nice and got us seats for the movie I originally wanted to see. The food is awesome too.
