Great place for a visit. Family friendly up close look at the Bluebonnet Swamp. Nicely maintained wooden walkways. Very affordable.
A nice walk. Runs right by a suburban complex so didn't feel too wild. Enjoyed the animals in the visitor center
The entire swamp has trails which come to about 2 miles in total. Couldn't spot any animals except for a possum and a rabbit. Maybe we went off-season. In the welcome center, there were a wide variety of reptiles(including venemous snakes).
Great place to take the kids! I had fun walking the swamp trails and looking at there collection of rather large snakes. I was a good experience and my family really enjoyed it.
Great on a foggy day, but be careful of the parking lot construction--very muddy! Beautiful swamp right in the middle of Baton Rouge!
