It's a great place to pull in, relax, and eat lunch while watching the ducks walk pass and swim. It is also a great place to get out and get your cardio up. There is a track that you can walk, run or ride your bike around the lake or you can actually explore the whole lake area and travel around the winding roads and enjoy the scenery. The house are beautiful, the lakes are peaceful and it's just an enjoyable scene.

The parks are nice.I have problem with dog parks. I'm a disabled Vet.with a Akc registered emotional support dog.My dog is a American Pit bull XL.He is a large dog with a small dog mentality. He is 23mos still puppy playful. The dog is not aggressive, loves children.I have problems with other owners in park because of his size and breed. He has his tag Identifying him as a service dog.I'm contacting my city council rep.to discuss the issue.

Easily one of my favorite parks in the city. Obviously, it's close proximity to the "The Lakes" is something that makes it more special than others. Also notable are the gargantuan oak trees scattered around the park which provide visual interest and the oh so valuable shade in the warmer months -- all twelve of them. Yes, we could name other parks with elevation, but here we'll find rolling hills, a small step above the simple slopes of Highland Road Park, for example.

Beautiful park, loved watching the various birds, seeing the golf course and learning from geocaching that there used to be a zoo in the park. Very nice. Plenty of parking.

I've spent most of my time passing through this park while running, where I definitely appreciate the stretch of dedicated biking and jogging lanes that continue all the way through LSU campus. Most recently however, I was here as a photographer. It's easy to say there's something for everyone here.

Great park to bring your family. Relaxing atmosphere and a fun place for the kids to play.

It's one of few parks to offer golf, and also has a strong set of tennis courts. If you want to throw the frisbee with your pupper, the Raising Cane's dog park is also on the same site. The recently completed children's museum down the road makes it easier to make an entire day out of this area.
