I love Casey and trust him to give me a wonderful haircut and blow-out. He really cares about his customers and always takes lots of time to understand what I want and he tries to teach me exactly how he styles my hair so I can duplicate it at home. (I have definitely learned a lot but he's still much better at it of course!) You cannot go wrong with him--he will always leave you looking lovely and he will not do anything he hasn't consulted with you about while he's doing it, so no surprises. I have been lots of places in Baton Rouge but I have never found anyone who knows as much about hair and who cares as much as Casey does. And Salon Dolce Vita is a perfect atmosphere, not insanely busy, not overly snooty, very comfortable, and the staff is friendly and warm. I look forward to my visits there.

Would give zero stars if I could. Horrible desk rep. Called on a Tuesday Nov. 14 to have an appt set up on that Friday Nov. 17 (I’m from out of town attending an event Friday). After speaking with her on the phone for 5 minutes and giving her my info, I was informed I had an appt on Friday at 2:45pm. Friday came and I went to the salon and told them I had an appt at 2:45. Person at the desk told me they didn’t even have me in the system!!! I showed them the call log on my phone from Tuesday and confirmed that was their phone number. My event started at 5pm. I had to call every other salon nearby to see if someone can squeeze me in within two hours! Thankfully ‘Salon Eden’ was able to do what this salon couldn’t do which was set up days ahead of time.
I LOVE going to Salon Dolce Vita (whenever I finally decide to get my annual hair cut...I'm not really kidding). Trish is super great and is always helpful when trying to select a new style. She works really fast, but very neat & organized. It has taken me a long time to find a salon that I really like going to, but I no longer have to look! :)
