When we first arrived we walked around for a little looking for a sales associate, only one that was clearly a worker with identification, and asked what we needed to do to rent a tux. She pointed and a section and said "they're right there, someone will come help". No one came to help and once we realized we needed to wait in line, there were already 3 pickups and two other customers in line. We decided to wait patiently, but after 30 mins, and asking others if they had even been helped and if so for how long. As well as trying to get any worker to help, we eventually took our business elsewhere.
I am getting married this Saturday. We have 10 out of 11 people who went to pick up their rentals and 5 of them have to come back including the father of the bride on the actual wedding day when we had other plans for him. The ONLY thing that fit on the groom, were the shoes & the tie. The associate tried to talk him into his size 44x46 pants when he is a size 40. So now, instead of spending time with his siblings coming in from out of town today, he will be driving an hour to Baton Rouge to fix men's wearhouse mistake. One groomsmen in Houston paid $319 when it was originally supposed to be $230 with tax. Another groomsmen took a picture of his tux that the associate in Baton Rouge said 'Oh, its supposed to be like that'. If I could attach a picture I would. Y'all would be absolutely EMBARASSED that an employee told him this was supposed to be correct. Miranda, one of the managers at the BR location, told us that we only got $20 refund when it was supposed to be $60. We bought a suit from y'all with the shopping spree, and spent $350 on top of that (which the suit pants were a size 40 and the rental pants were 44x46). And THIS is the service that we get. When the groom walked out with what looks like parachute pants, the associate tried to talk him into getting it. It was like he had to argue with her to make her reorder. She didn't want to go through the work to do it. We chose y'all because of the convenience and I actually worked for David's Bridal for four years. I do wedding planning on the side. I have been a part of 15+ bridal shows, I have recommended Men's Wearhouse THOUSANDS of times. I would have NEVER recommended you guys knowing what we have experienced. Zero remorse other than 'sorry for the inconvience'. I will NEVER recommend Men's Wearhouse again.
Despite the fact that I hate wearing a tuxedo or suit, these professionals at this location managed to make sure that I look impeccable
My entire experience with Men's Wearhouse in Baton Rouge was wonderful. I am now a faithful customer. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, especially P.J. If you are in need of a suit, I highly recommend going to see him.
We were upset at wasted time, and the fact that there was not a customer service rep to let us know that they were either experiencing a longer than usual wait time, or to even say someone would be with us shortly.
Had an incredibly dissatisfying time here. My boyfriend needed to rent a tux, and luckily we could go anywhere (ultimately we went to Squires).
Sized me then still sent wrong size tux coat and shirt. Had to wait forever to make order and to pick up. Told me to put my name on a list then I watched them engage people that walked up without putting their name on the list. Never told me when my Tux was ready (via email or phone). Tux came so close to event that there was no time to fix it. Told me I had a grace period to return it...then charges me a late fee for bringing it back within the timeframe given??? Never going here again!
I hope we were just a bad case, and that this store isn't as terrible as it was for us. However, after reading other reviews I am glad that we spent our money elsewhere.
