7. OTF has occasional extra challenges for additional fun. Some of these include Hell Week (complete at least 5 workouts in 8 days and earn a t-shirt), Dri Tri (triathlon-like activity consisting of 2000m row, 300 floor exercises, and a 5K treadmill run), and the Weight Loss Challenge (complete at least 3 workouts for week and compete for cash based on highest percentage of weight lost).
I love all of the feedback from your trainers, love the classic rock workout song lists and the modifications suggested by trainers. You also have experienced trainers
I absolutely love Orange Theory! Within the last eight weeks, I have attended classes with almost all of the coaches and they are all great. They challenge you without making you feel poorly about your current fitness level. The front desk staff and the owners of this gym are always super friendly as well.
I started out planning to attend only twice a week but quickly became obsessed after seeing and feeling my results. I now average 6 days a week and look forward to each workout. I really can't say enough good things about this gym!
3. You never have to wait for equipment, and equipment is always wiped down after use. You don't have to worry about people hogging the equipment or not wiping it down.
The workouts are challenging but doable. The staff is really nice and always makes you feel welcome. The trainers are motivating and knowledgeable, Meghan is awesome. I love being able to schedule my classes through the app and also track my progress. It's sometimes tricky getting into the evening classes so you'll want so book as early as possible.
5. The coaches challenge you and will correct your form as needed. You get the benefit of personal training without the cost or the constant babysitting from one.
2. The workouts are designed to challenge you, regardless of your level, and they vary every day. As people become more fit, their workouts will meet them halfway.
6. The heart rate monitor and monitor screen give you continuous feedback about how you are doing and whether you need to ramp up your effort a notch for maximal benefit.
Visited because I was out of town and enjoyed it! Smaller facility than my hometown orangetheory but I liked it! Nicole was the trainer, she was very good at explaining the instructions and keeping everyone motivated during the workout.
OrangeTheory Fitness does a splendid job as a gym compared to what most gyms get only partially right, and I would recommend it to anyone. It provides a communal atmosphere and a challenging, time-efficient workout that can help anyone get in shape if they are dedicated to it.
1. You build a sense of community there as you see the same people in your class times and get to know them. If you start skipping, they ask where you have been, which helps keep you accountable.
4. The playlists are great.
