Don't go too often but had to go to pick up a present for a 3-year-old boy's birthday party. The man who greeted us at the door was friendly. I requested recommendations on a gift. He walked me to the aisles that had age appropriate toys. Pointed out what was popular for that age range and recommended Paw Patrol. Was a great recommendation! The cashier also was helpful and applied a 15% off coupon. Great experience overall.
Shaleia was able help me confirm that there were none in store, but she was able to help me order the item through the website, because the mobile site was crashing too often on my phone. I know this seems like something little, but it meant quite a bit to me that she went out of her way to ensure that I got what I was looking for. She could have very easily left it at "There's nothing I can do", but she didn't.
However on this occasion they were ready for the holiday surge. Lots of customers were shopping yet the checkout lines were quick. Out front they had people dress up like popular toy characters (Star Wars, Ghostbusters, Princess, GiJoe, etc.). It brought a smile out of me. If my daughter was older we would have made an event out of it.
My wife and I have brought our daughter there several times and are always treated well by the employees and have a great selection of toys and clothes to choose from.
I very much appreciate this level of customer service when it comes to things like this, and feel she deserves some credit!
Toys"R"Us is usually packed with shoppers. The checkout lines are usually very long because not enough cashiers are on duty. To make matters worse as you wait in line you have a direct view of several (3-5) employees yacking it up at the customer service desk.
I was very impressed with the level of service I received at the customer service desk this morning. I was having issues ordering a "Convention Shared Exclusive" that was released this morning.There was a limited quantity released, so time was of the essence when ordering this, because once it's gone, it's gone.
Wide selection of toys and clothes for all ages. I wish the staff was a lil more knowledgeable. Overall, I go there all the time and my kids love it too.
