I went there because I have gallstones and need surgery to remove my gallbladder.I don't remember the general surgeon's name but he had a beard.Anyway, I an in tremendous pain and can't have my surgery till two weeks from now.The doctor said he would give me a little pain medicine till I could get my surgery. Then he came back in and said he couldn't give it to me because the er had given me some to just take that. And left rudely and abruptly.I didn't get the chance to tell him that they gave me only enough for two days.I stretched them out three days but was out now.I guess they like for their patients to cry and suffer all night in excruciating pain. That goes against the hypocritical oath to "do no harm". No compassion and no heart. They are just in it for the huge pay check.Very disappointing and depressing.I have no confidence in doctors that purposely and needlessly let you suffer.A dog would get treated better by a vet.Disgraceful.This ficility is horrible.
After years of deteriorating hearing, I was referred to LSU Health by my PCP. I was diagnosed with Otosclerosis and had my surgery (Stapedectomy) scheduled on 7/10/17... Dr. Stephen Hernandez is absolutely Amazing!!! I met him the day of my surgery and he's been with me every step of the way! My hearing has improved significantly in my left ear with surgery and my right ear will be next!! I am completely satisfied with the Residents and Doctors at LSU Health Surgical Center when it comes to my care plan...
Appt. was schedule for 8:30 did not see a doctor until 12:30. If you are paying out of pocket it's a waste of cash. Very unprofessional in my opinion. I waste a whole days of work to get a "second opinion" and NO treatment! 4hrs for a 5 min conversation with a "LSU health student" is ridiculous. Definatly waiting the board of Health to return my call and email.
I broke my ankle and foot in several places. I have been given the best care through this long healing process. I had surgery there on my foot & ankle. I have had excellent care. I have had a MRI done and will have a mammogram & colonoscopy soon. Everyone is so caring and make you feel welcome
The down side to this clinic is the wait time... The shortest visit I have EVER had here was 2 hours and 15 minutes and that's with me leaving early... I've also waited up to 4 1/2 hours... So be preapred to wait!!!
Very unprofessional.... when a problem doesn't appear until after surgery, I think it's safe to say that the surgery cause a problem. They try to get you to believe that's it's only inn your head when you can clearly feel and see the effects of the problem. I'll never be sent there ever again in life.
