I wanted to give this place a few stars for being culturally-different and veggie friendly but what I got was a bad taste, literally. I almost always finish my food, but this was depressing - really a sad, sad breakfast sandwich. Dry biscuit, minimal toppings, a premade egg circle that was just anything but fresh, and an overcompensating slab of melty cheddar for the crumbly chicken sausage. I also got a coconut water FOR $4.
Each time I have gone to Milford's the staff has been incredibly accommodating and kind. It is one of my personal favorite restaurants in the area and is a go to spot for my co-workers and I. It also helps that the food is DELICIOUS!
Decent small lunch place with large portions and limited indoor and outdoor seating. The pecan salad is recommended.
The breakfast sandwich was inedible. We had to throw most of it away. It doesn't take much effort or money to make fresh, edible food. This seems like a management/owner problem in that they are choosing to serve people what seems like pre-frozen, rubbery, inedible food. I'd love a refund and don't recommend eating breakfast at Milford's.
Get the smoked salmon - that's a steal at least, and you can't really mess it up.
Unlike some other restaurants in the downtown area, Milford's on Third is open at the listed time and the menu is good for a variety of palates. I thoroughly enjoyed my grits, eggs, and biscuit with a generous serving of bacon.
I hope they step up their game to represent what a real Jewish deli tastes like. Not this!
