I first came to Avallon about a year and a half ago for a color correction to a tragic balayage I got at another salon in town. I didn’t request a specific stylist but was BLESSED to get an appointment with Amira! The balayage I had gotten was essentially pitch black roots with blonde at the bottom (ugh!). After one appointment with Amira, my blonde was back and looking fabulous!
I got my hair highlighted here for the first time and it turned out so great!!! I love the color so much!! Joey did it and I was very happy with it!!! The people here are so funny and so much fun to be around!! I highly recommend this place and request Joey when you come!!!
After that day, Amira, and the rest of the Avallon crew have continued to impress me. I’ve been regularly coming for cuts/colors and high-gloss treatments, which have brought life to my dry and damanged swimmer hair. Amira also looks out for her clients by making suggestions that are best for them, rather than the best for making money.
Aside from Amira’s fantastic work, all of the Avallon staff are so welcoming and down to earth! They have a family dynamic and make you feel at home. I seriously love Avallon and can’t say enough good things about this place! I’ve never been one to commit to a specific salon/stylist but coming to Avallon and having Amira as my stylist has changed that for good!
I had such a wonderful experience with Donna yesterday at Avallon Day Spa. She did my lashes; a full set for the first time. Donna was very knowledgeable about everything, she knew what lengths and millimeters to use for my lashes, or if the weight/length would be to much for my eye shape and lid. She just knew everything. There is nothing that I couldn't ask her a question about, that she didn't already know. She gave me a run down of what expect and was very kind and gentle with my lashes. It was one of the Best Experiences Ever!!! I've received lash extensions, for about seven or eight years now and she is one of the greatest lash tech's to date. Her whole environment is wonderful, quaint and the service was top-notch... I love my lashes and I can't wait to go back to her. Final thought "Go to Donna; you won't regret it, she is amazing"!
Service is amazing and my stylist's talent is impeccable. Brien Bruxton is now my solid go-to and I have been searching for years in the Baton Rouge area for this kind of talent. He has vision and will give you the best advice on styling, color, and hair products. Brien makes every appointment a fun experience and will leave you feeling beautiful!!
