For the same price, and sometimes less, Homewood Suites is clean, comfortable, and offers good breakfast and complimentary evening social nubbles, with wine and beer. It's a great place to wind-down after a hard day's work or play. The separate kitchen, living room and bedroom areas feel like a studio apartment, rather than a confining hotel room. Truly a home away from home.
My profile preferences clearly state that I prefer a room on the highest floor available and I entered the same information in the special requests section when booking the room a week ahead of time. I arrive and they have me on the first floor. Completely ignored my profile room preference and the special request. Not worthy of my money again at anytime in the future, too many other hotels who will heed requests made that far in advance and especially from a Hilton Honors gold member.

Got room 241first, had a leak in drip pan which was already moldy, got brother sick enough he couldn't go to uncle's wedding. The only reason it is 3 states is because the hotel is nice and they immediately began looking for an upgrade and comped us for 1 night.
We used to like staying here but it has changed over the years. One problem I have is there are only about 4 handicap parking spaces (on one side of the hotel) for the entire parking lot so when those few fill up (and it does on game weekends) my handicapped wife has to walk long distances to and from the room. Front desk folks are generally friendly and helpful but constantly turning over.
