Wonderful atmosphere with low lighting, votive candles, smooth music playing overhead. The staff are courteous and offer opinions when they are asked. The food is absolutely amazing. The fried chicken is crispy and flavorful, the mussels and squash bursting with flavor and a hint of spice. A large variety of happy hour temptations for a great price!
This is a GREAT place! We are just passing thru as travellers and found this place. Delicious food that is prepared fresh with each order, and a kind staff that is extremely friendly. If you're looking for a soul food place in Baton Rouge, this is the place to go.
This was my first time here and i must say The customer service was bomb! and the Owner was very nice enough to let me and my best friend try the special homemade punch! The turkey wings are fall off the bone good!
The place is easy to miss and is a step above a hole in a wall but it is clean and the food is absolutely delicious. Somebody's Grandma with the good eye is in the kitchen putting her foot in every dish. Try everything. You won't regret it.
