Nice little restaurant that serves a daily soul food lunch which includes an entree and two sides. The food is mildly seasoned and portions are adequate. My favorite is their homemade lemonade and sweet tea.
Went there just before they closed for the day, but they still gave a great meal and good conversation. I'm glad they updated the look of the restaurant, because I never did notice it before (they've been there for 18+ years!). They were out of the dish I wanted to get (Étouffée), but that's what I get for arriving so late. The substitute was awesome (Red Beans/Catfish). I will be back, and look forward to your dinner hours!
The food has a delicious look, but the flavor is very salty. No ice for the drinks. It would have been nice to be told that the drinks was hot before we purchased them. The staff was friend thiigh.
